Frozen Four Crit

Star Track Cycling at Frozen Four Crit 5 Mar 2023

This race was fun. It was on a new course. We had to wake up really early because it was two hours away from our house. I ate a lot that morning. It was pretty cold, around 30 degrees. It was a 25 minute race and the course was about 1 mile long.

Someone at the start went super hard and Devin from Verge followed and started a break. Ari, Daniel, Julian, Ian, I, and a few other people started to chase them. Eventually we caught them. Then Devin started a solo break. Ari, Julian, and Daniel followed. I tried to follow but it was too fast. Then after that, me and a few other people caught Julian and Danial. Ari was too tired so he could not stay with us. Before the finish Julian and Daniel made an attack and got second and third and then it was another rider that got fourth and I was right behind him and got fifth.

I think that I should have followed the attack with Julian and Danial and should have taken fewer pulls.
